Resource Limits

Here is the consolidated list of limits of AWS services for quick reference

1) S3 

a) Number of Buckets – 100

b) Individual object size – 0 to 5 TB, Upload in Single PUT - 5 GB

2) SQS

a) Retention Period - 0 to 14 Days. Default - 4 days

3) Kinesis 

a) Default Stream available for 24 hours. Config upto 7 days

4) IAM

a) Groups in AWS account :100

b) Roles in AWS account : 250
c) Users in AWS account : 5000

5) VPC 

a) Internet Gateway – 1 per VPC
b) VPC - 5 per region

c) Virtual private gateway – 5 per region

d) Customer Gateway – 50 per region

e) Subnet – 200 per VPC
